If you are wanting to leave your make up bag behind and bare all with glowing skin this summer then I recommend the award winning Dr Leah Bespoke Facial. The Dr Leah Bespoke facial uses a combination of innovative technologies to brighten, firm and rehydrate your skin. A routine facial should be part of everyone’s skin care management. Dependant on what your skin care goals and needs actually are will depend on the type of facial you should choose and how regularly you should have them.

You may not realise but the skin is the largest organ in the human body and has a daily battle against environmental factors such as pollution, UV and weather not to mention hormones that weaken our skins ability to protect us. Lifestyle choices we make such as smoking, diet, make-up and incorrect product use all have a negative impact on the appearance of your skin.

So what can you do to get the most out of your skin and restore its natural glow? Ensure to cleanse, exfoliate, moisturise and protect with SPF daily. Look out for ingredients such as Vitamin C, Hyaluronic acid and Papaya which will keep your skin fresh and of course follow that healthy life style.

Here at Dr Leah’s Cosmetic Skin Clinics London we are here to help, we offer a free skin analysis during which our experienced skin specialists will consult, scan and assess your skin needs. We will then design a bespoke treatment and home care plan and educate you on skin health. We will work with you to achieve smooth, healthy, flawless skin.

Investing in your skin now will not only give you instant results but long term benefits and remember prevention is always better than cure.

Dr Leah Totton with patient

As the trend for natural beauty rises and the demand for 'something subtle' becomes more popular than ever, the formerly fashionable 'trout pout' is definitely no longer the look that patients want to achieve. Instead, our clients are seeking out a middle ground, opting for less invasive treatment and - regardless of the procedure - that subtle outcome that enhances one's appearance without changing it completely.

The cosmetic industry as a whole is starting to embrace this wave of natural rejuvenation, which is why procedures such as Silhouette Soft® are in demand. Minimal downtime alongside maximum results mean that this procedure is hot stuff! This definitely true here at Dr Leah's Clinic.

This trend extends to historically popular treatments ant-wrinkle injections, which is still highly effective, but clients now no longer want that expressionless, fake, plastic look. They are following our advice that less is definitely more!

Whatever the season, all of us here at Dr Leah's Clinic are advocates of natural beauty, and so we're obviously thrilled with this new trend - we say long may it continue!

The Dr Leah Clinic is located in Moorgate, not far from Liverpool Street. Click here for more details, or call 020 7877 5999 to speak with a member of our team.

Laser hair removal

In recent years, laser hair removal has become the most popular choice for people who want to eliminate unwanted body hair. The treatment uses a laser to heat and effectively destroy hair follicles in the treated area without affecting the surrounding cells or any other follicles.

But even with the widespread success and popularity of laser treatments, the experts who staff our London cosmetic clinic are still sometimes asked whether or not the treatment is safe. In today's blog post, we will put this question to bed once and for all.

In a nutshell: yes, laser hair removal is safe, as long as the treatment is administered by a qualified clinician. Here at Dr Leah Clinics, we use a laser treatment called Soprano ICE, which uses award-winning technology to permanently remove your unwanted hair. It is the latest version of the renowned Soprano hair removal laser, and more importantly, clinical tests have shown that Soprano ICE is completely safe. It is also pain-free, and suitable for all skin types.

As with any treatment, some Soprano ICE patients do experience side effects (including redness and itchiness in the treatment area), but these are quite minor and usually subside shortly afterwards. We cannot vouch for other clinics and the treatments that they use, but we have enough confidence in our own methods to say that, yes, laser hair removal is completely safe for both male and female patients.
